Sue has fearlessly stepped into a new role as Filene’s Head of Play & Experience through a new pilot program to match Filene’s business needs with executives on loan from a credit union or industry provider. As Filene’s very first Loaned Executive, CUNA Mutual Group is sponsoring Sue’s position consulting across marketing, events and account management.
Her drive to build a strong credit union community stems from her impressive CUNA Mutual Group career. Sue has held a number of leadership roles including Director, Policyowner Relations; Senior Manager, Market Promotions; Assistant Vice President, Association Relations; Senior Communications Strategist for the COO, CSO and CPO; and Director of Product Marketing.
Her passions and commitments to bettering the community don’t stop there. Most recently Sue served as CUNA Mutual Group’s Director of United Way, creating the strategy and managing the 2017 campaign for United Way of Dane County, as well as partnering with United Way and area business leaders. Sue has served as a board member for Summit Credit Union, board chairman for Great Wisconsin Credit Union, board member for CU Biz Kid$, board president of Three Gaits, Inc., and on several United Way of Dane County committees.
With all of this on her plate, she still makes time to travel the world with her husband and spend time with their cats and horses.
