Robert Miller is President and Chief Operating Officer for New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU), a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. NEFCU serves more than 160,000 members with over $3 billion in assets and 460 employees. NEFCU and VSECU, where Rob served as President and Chief Executive Officer since 2014, completed a merger effective January 1, 2023.
Rob graduated from the University of Vermont and started a career in financial services with Citibank in New York and Chicago. He relocated back to Vermont as a public servant working for the Vermont Department of Economic Development where he ultimately served as Commissioner. Prior to joining VSECU, Rob spent over a decade in executive roles in the institutional investment management industry with Dwight Asset Management (Vermont) and Conning (Connecticut).
Rob serves on several for-profit and non-profit Boards. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont; is a graduate of The Vermont Leadership Institute, a program of the Snelling Center for Government; and received his Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation through the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES).
