Jenna is the Vice President/Chief Governance and Strategy Officer at at Visions Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Endwell, NY. Visions is a nonprofit financial institution with over $5 billion in assets, and 200,000 members primarily in three states (New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania). Jenna works out of the New Jersey corporate headquarters and oversees multiple enterprise departments including Culture & Inclusion, Enterprise Project Management, Governmental Affairs & Advocacy, and Human Resources. She also provides leadership to the functions of corporate strategy and board governance. Jenna partners closely with the Board of Directors and associated committees to evolve their strategy, education, and governance structure.
Prior to her role as VP, Jenna served as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Visions. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, payroll and benefits. Before joining Visions in 2013, Jenna carved out a career working in various HR roles at large, nonprofit organizations including the Guthrie Clinic and Marist College. While working at Marist, she completed her Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in Executive Leadership. This complimented her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations, which she obtained from Cornell University.
Jenna is passionate about community involvement and helping others. Throughout her career, she has served on multiple community boards, and in advisory capacities to organizations such as the United Way. Jenna was one of the founding members of the Emerging Leaders Society, which helps to connect and develop professionals in the Broome County area. She is the current President of a Society for Human Resources Chapter, STAHR, and embraces the opportunity to advance the field of HR. She enjoys teaching and developing, holding prior adjunct teaching and advisor roles at Binghamton University and mentoring multiple other professionals.
Jenna’s goal is to be a strategic and inspirational leader who leads by positive example. She has taken great pride in her accomplishments both professionally and personally. Outside of work, Jenna is an avid sports fan and athlete. She enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her dog, who is truly her favorite “person”. Jenna is an animal rights advocate, who also regularly supports various humane and animal rescue organizations.
