With a diverse background across the entertainment and ecommerce industries, J-J is relatively new to the financial services industry. Since joining Connexus Credit Union in 2015, he has been continually amazed at the generosity of the Connexus family and the credit union community at large.
As Director, Digital Channel, J-J is tasked with providing best-of-breed online experiences to existing members and prospective members alike, and bringing the branch to Connexus' membership via web and app. With the recent redesign of ConnexusCU.org, continual improvements to the Digital Banking, and increased communication channels in the digital space, the Connexus virtual branch is as welcoming as walking into a local branch.
"There has never been a better time to be part of Digital Banking", says J-J, noting that the confluence of hardware functionality, software capability, connection speed, and - importantly - increasingly sophisticated user expectations keeps the bar high and challenge constant to bring our best, every day. And with more than 50% of Connexus' Digital Banking sessions happening on mobile (and growing!), the challenge promises to remain for the foreseeable future.
Outside of work, J-J enjoys cooking, woodworking, audio technology, and hanging out with his wife and baby daughter.
