Harald Schneider joined Visa in 2018, and is Vice President of Global Data Products. The Global Data Products team serves Visa clients and partners globally with predictive models and benchmarking to drive customer engagement, underwriting, and marketing effectiveness. Mr. Schneider is leading the development and management of web based data products such as the Visa Analytics Platform and Visa Spend Insights. He is also responsible for Data API products. Prior to Visa, Mr. Schneider built and successfully launched the challenger bank Tandem Bank in the UK. As Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Analytics Officer, he led the development of Tandem’s product suite, risk management, marketing and analytic strategy. Prior to Tandem Bank, he spent five years at Capital One in the US. As Managing Vice President of Decision Sciences, he led the development of machine learning models and the analytics strategy for Capital One’s credit card business. Mr. Schneider started his career at Citibank where he spent 12 years in various roles in the US and EMEA leading a number of businesses as general manager and CFO. He holds an MBA from The University of Iowa, an MSc from Frankfurt University and a BA from Frankfurt University
