A forward-thinking individual and visionary leader, Dawn oversees Filene’s membership, marketing, and event teams. She is the driving force that will spread the Filene message far and wide that will continue to strengthen the credit union movement and improve financial well-being for all.
With 24 years of experience working with credit unions in a variety of roles ranging from marketing, sales, and strategy development, Dawn is a driver of change management and strategic advisor to credit unions. She is passionate about spreading the credit union message and will ensure that members are utilizing Filene resources to their highest potential.
Prior to her role at Filene, Dawn worked at CUNA Mutual Group in a variety of roles, primarily around lending optimization. Past roles include Regional Sales Manager—Lending Protection and Vice President of Sales. She is also the co-owner of D2 Strategic Services where she facilitates strategic leadership sessions for leaders in credit unions of all asset sizes.
Dawn earned her B.A from the University of Texas – Austin and holds a Customer Experience Certification from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. She calls Austin, Texas home where she is a member of the National Charity League, North Austin Chapter with her three daughters. In her free time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, singing, and playing tennis.
