Blueprints for Innovation: The Latest Concepts from Filene i3, Fall 2014

If you look at a graph representing the number of credit unions in the United States over the past decade, you’ll notice it closely resembles the downward slope of a double black diamond ski run. By most accounts, this decline can be attributed to the difficulty many small credit unions have maintaining the efficiencies needed to stay competitive.

Teams of innovators in Filene’s i3 (Ideas Innovation, Implementation) program recently focused their efforts on solving many of the pressing efficiency problems credit unions face in their operations and in serving their members. Here we share seven concepts from the i3 teams designed to improve credit union efficiency. One of the concepts in this blueprint might be the cornerstone to renewed efficiency for your credit union.

Filene extends its sincere appreciation to PSCU for their ongoing commitment to credit union innovation and support of the Filene i3 program.
