Laura works in the Research Department at Filene where she helps by keeping the research engaging, updating revisions, and adding figures and images to improve research reports. She also works with other Filene team members creating supporting materials to reports, such as infographics or videos. She’s delighted to work with so many kind and caring people—both at Filene, and in the financial services industry.
Prior to Filene, she took part in Madison’s start-up culture, and began a business aimed at helping our community reduce food waste. She also created a business supporting local CSA farms with customized menu plans. She has been an archaeologist, an English teacher, a recipe developer, a waitress, a drum major, a mom, and a fly fisherman. She holds a MA in archaeology from UCLA, and a BA in English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
