FiLab, Year 3 Tests Revealed

This webinar provides an overview of what we’re testing next in FiLab to grow the credit union business model while serving credit union members’ greatest needs. We will give an inside look at the lab Symposium outcomes and how the innovation tests will be shaped over the coming year.

FiLab’s 3rd Annual Symposium brought together leaders from some of the most visionary credit unions and founders of best-in-class emerging solutions to with the goal of driving the future in the credit union industry. Highlights of this intensive three-day workshop included exploring trends shaping our system in 2025, evaluating twenty groundbreaking emerging solutions, and ultimately selecting the six solutions credit unions will collaboratively test beginning in January.

    FiLab Year 2 Tests Underway

    In September 2023, Filene's lab sponsors convened to choose seven tests for the program’s second year. These initiatives have now been officially launched, and their outcomes will be disseminated to the marketplace by the end of the calendar year. Five of these seven tests are in close collaboration with fintech partners. The pilot projects center around leveraging AI to enhance credit union performance, foster payment and deposit growth, and anticipate industry trends on the horizon.
