A main theme from our namesake Ed Filene's book, "Speaking of Change" -- a collection of his speeches and articles -- is that he was always looking ahead: "discussing events of the day and attitudes of the day not in terms of any hypothetical “existing situation,” but with a profound conviction that “nothing is situated,” and all things must be judged, therefore, not according to any absolute formulas, but in their relation to the ever changing times."

It is from this inspiration that we draw our annual CU campus event to provide updates on what the past year has shown us and give our thoughts on what changes we see ahead.
