The Evolution and Innovation of Credit Unions | Cornerstone Credit Union League
This session takes a look at how cooperative principles have guided the evolution and innovation of the credit union movement. “Credit unions…each acting individually, could not possibly accomplish what they can now accomplish acting together.” Edward Filene, father of the US credit union movement and namesake of Filene Research Institute, said this in 1936 and it still rings true today!
