Lamar Heyward currently serves the members and staff of Local Government FCU where he has been an employee for nine years. Working as an Innovation Strategist, his primary responsibility is helping leaders in the organization provide meaningfully unique solutions in a crowded marketplace. He earned his BA in Communications from North Carolina State University and has spent his career making contributions in a variety of disciplines including journalism, graphic design, interactive design and innovation. Many of these years were spent leading teams of writers, designers and developers at the credit union and with other organizations. Whether designing a strategic plan, a service, a brochure or a web site, the common theme has always been uncovering solutions to problems and providing a better experience for those impacted by the end result.
