Meet our 2021-2022 interns!
Tanvi Tilloo – Incubation Intern
As Filene’s incubation intern, Tanvi is ready to help credit unions test new products and ideas that will help accelerate their decision making and growth. Tanvi works with our Incubation team by taking theoretical research and then applying it to real world situations. As someone who has always been impact focused, Tanvi will take important findings and see how they can be operationalized to make a real impact to credit unions around the country.
A Madison native, Tanvi attended UW-Madison where she graduated with a bachelor's in economics and math. She is now based in Chicago where she is in her first year of graduate school at the University of Chicago for public policy. When Tanvi is not working or studying, she enjoys exploring all that Chicago has to offer. A fun fact about Tanvi, is that she speaks German and likes listening to obscure German podcasts.
Vy Mai – Research Intern
Vy is up to the task of sifting through various research that will help credit unions make practical and actionable impacts. Vy will be aiding Filene’s research team so we can continue to provide credit unions with innovative research that will increase learning and transform their organizations. A special topic of interest for Vy includes accessibility and researching how indirect lending can help membership growth.
Originally from Vietnam, Vy now finds herself at Beloit College where she is double majoring in Quantitative Economics and Anthropology. After completing her undergraduate degree, Vy wants to work with data analytics. For fun, Vy enjoys cooking and having potluck with friends, as well as leading the Student Engagement and Leadership office where she aids in creating fun, campus-wide events.
