Biography

Ericka began her career in the Canadian Credit Union system over 11 years ago as a Member Service Representative. Within six months, she was recruited to the newly formed Merger & Integration Team, which played a key role in forging today's $2 Billion Coastal Community Credit Union. In her current role as Senior Manager, Corporate Planning, Ericka leverages her recognized expertise in the areas of strategic thinking, collaboration, and project management to lead the successful completion of corporate initiatives that deliver relevant, consumer driven, differentiated service experiences to Coastal Community's member and client base of 110,000. Ericka has a passion for mentoring the next generation of Credit Union leaders, and believes this work is critical to the ongoing success of the system. Ericka is a National Young Leader award finalist and former National Young Leaders Committee Chairperson. She is a founder of the Coastal Young Leaders Network, which has been recognized within B.C. as a best practice initiative. Ericka credits her professional successes to a commitment to lifelong learning and the servant leadership philosophy. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria, and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
