Research Manager

The Research Manager coordinates the output of Filene’s most important asset: its research. The role will be responsible for the entire research project supply chain and custom research portfolio, beginning with stakeholder relationships through to the final publication that is shared with Filene’s members, marketplace, and the public.

Job Purpose

This vital role needs an accomplished project manager and proactive executer with finely honed abilities to (1) manage many large deliverables simultaneously, prioritizing needs, managing risks, and ensuring every detail is accounted for; (2) serve as a nexus for internal and external stakeholders, coordinate internally within the research team, cross-functionally across teams, and externally with researchers, research participants, and industry stakeholders; and (3) contribute directly by helping to guide Filene’s research agenda, produce research and ancillary outputs, and grow with a growing research team.

Filene is based in Madison, Wisconsin, with satellite offices in Irvine, CA and Denver, CO, and this position can also be remote.
