  1. Information Technology and Management Structure: A Case Study of First Technology Credit Union

    Berrish, Sargent, and Ware focus on one credit unions unique experience with information technology and organizational structure. It is not intended that focusing on one credit union will be a guideline for other credit unions, but rather that it will provide insights and stimulate discussion of how technology can affect optimal management structures.

    Berrish, Sargent, and Ware the contributors to this monograph were all a part of the 1998 Filene colloquium on “Information Technology and Management Structure.” The colloquium focused on the relationship between IT and the products offered by credit union’s, back office support functions, and the structure of management. This monograph focuses on one credit unions unique experience with information technology and organizational structure. It is not intended that focusing on one credit union will be a guideline for other credit unions, but rather that it will provide insights and stimulate discussion of how technology can affect optimal management structures.
