    This study explores how credit union mergers affect service to members, and gives leaders the tools to measure merger impact on members of both credit unions. Researchers examined 1,624 credit unions prior to merger and their performance for three years after a merger.

    The study goes beyond traditional financial analysis and member surveys, and uses a sophisticated analytic technique that measures “member service efficiency”.
