COOL (Custom-fit, Online, Outrageous and Loyal) Solutions provides guidance, business models, training, products and services to credit unions so they can more effectively attract, engage and serve the 16-29 year old market. The intent is to help transform credit unions into "COOL" financial institutions, offer sustainable products and services to this market, meet the needs of the market, illustrate that this market is profitable and reverse the trend of a graying membership - creating a brighter future for tomorrow's consumer and credit union industry.
State credit union leagues and other state and regional credit union organizations coordinate COOL Solutions projects in their areas in collaboration with the Filene Research Institute. Filene can provide technical assistance to credit union leagues and organizations and, in some situations, directly to credit unions through tool kits, training materials, educational programs, information exchanges, and program evaluation tools.
