April 2010 Fellows and Research Council Roundtable

We heard from you that one meeting a year may not be enough to fully utilize the brainpower of the Filene Fellows and your Research Council colleagues. As a result, we invite you to attend a roundtable in Madison, WI (held at Filene on the credit union campus at 5910 Mineral Point Road, 53701) on Wednesday, April 7th from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. It will feature several Filene Fellows discussing current research issues in the credit union system. We have space for only 12 Research Council Members to attend.

  2. If you wish to make hotel reservations, you can call the Courtyard Madison West at 2266 Deming Way, Middleton, WI, 53562. CUNA Mutual has graciously offered the use of  their discount at the Courtyard, please refer to the CUNA Mutual Discount when calling the hotel at 608-203-0100.  There will be shuttle that will offer transportation from the hotel to the meeting location.

Spring 2010 i3 Meeting

Join us in Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world, for the next i3 Meeting, scheduled for April 12–14, 2010. The Driskill Hotel will be our home base for a journey into finding out find out what really makes Austin weird and how we can use these insights to strengthen credit unions. This invitation-only event is for Filene i3 members and innovation partners exclusively. 

Here is a brief, draft agenda:

Monday, April 12
Evening: 5:30 – 6:30 Welcome Reception
6:30 Team Working Dinners (on your own)

Tuesday, April 13
8:00 am – 5:30 pm: i3 Meeting
Evening: New Team Working Dinners (on your own)

Wednesday, April 14
8:00 am – 12:00 pm: i3 Meeting Concludes

Next steps:

  1. Complete the event registration.
  2. Click here or call 800-252-9367 and provide the booking code 20A1RS to reserve a room at the Driskill Hotel. We have secured a rate of $199 per night, which is available up to three days before and three days after to the event, should you choose to extend your trip. Please complete your reservation no later than March 15, 2010.
  3. Schedule your travel to arrive by 5:00 p.m. on April 12 and depart no earlier than 2:00 p.m. on April 14.

Please join us at our annual membership luncheon and meeting at The 1 Credit Union Conference in Las Vegas. The luncheon is our way of saying ‘thanks’ for your support of the Institute and to give you an update on current research and innovation projects.

 

As part of the event, we will have an enlightening speaker delivering timely information relevant to the credit union system.

 

We kindly ask that Filene members and those interested in learning more about the Institute register so that we may get an accurate count for lunch.
