  1. “Simply put, younger consumers just are not satisfied with the credit union experience”

    Debbie Matz, the National Credit Union Administration’s Chairman, recently stated “Simply put, younger consumers just are not satisfied with the credit union experience.” So, what are credit unions to do about it?

    Problem

    Filene raised the warning flag on the young adult issue in the late 1990s when it was obvious that younger consumers were trending away from credit unions. Over the past decade Filene has released numerous research studies, workshops and think tanks to help credit unions become more relevant to this segment of the population, but credit unions still have a long way to go.

    Solution

    Therefore, Filene is partnering with CUNA to help credit unions do something around the young adult challenge…the Young Adult Bootcamp. This 1 1/2 day workshop held in early September 2011, is limited to 20 credit unions, and will focus on creating implementation plans for your credit union’s young adult strategy.

    An eyes-opening article. We need to work harder with our membership to encourage the opening of accounts for relatives and also for adult to educates children in the importance of the credit union in the financial world.

  1. How beautiful the picture is. Look like the same is made by a very talented person. A nice and well written article about the credit union and about the taste of the younger consumers. If the young people have better payroll then there is no much problem in measured spending. Many business houses have taken up online payroll to make things easy. By the way have you heard of Paycor Cincinatti . I topic which need more focus and action. The solution found for getting out of this problem also looks very result giving one. I think such workshops will help a lot. Recently I read somewhere about Brent but here I got to know about him a lot.
