How should credit unions think about branding and digital presence as marketing moves increasingly to electronic formats? What kinds of communities can and should credit unions build around their brands? What existing and emerging tools are most effective?
You are cordially invited to:
Credit Union Digital Branding Colloquium hosted by the Filene Research Institute
Tuesday, November 15th, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm | City Club of San Francisco | San Francisco, CA
About the event
Credit union members and non-members increasingly gather information online and are affected by brands, communities, and discussions that take place in digital environments. Mobile phones, internet connections, apps, and social media are all rewiring the way consumers – especially coveted younger consumers – choose and interact with brands. In this environment, credit unions must determine the right way to reach, strengthen, and sell to their desired communities. They must be effective in establishing a digital brand congruent with their field of membership and business strategy.
This invitation-only one-day event includes:- Hope Schau, University of Arizona, Watch Your Language: How Consumers Respond to Brands’ Social Media
- Kristen Christian, Organizer, Bank Transfer Day, The Anatomy of Bank Transfer Day
- Payton Dobbs, Google, Inc., Beyond Advertising: Engaging Your Online Audience
- Christine Trodella, Facebook, Member Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention
- Beth Austin, Crescendo Consulting and Filene researcher, The ROI of Social Media: Fact and Fiction in Credit Unions
- Special Guest, The Science of Gen Y Branding
Space is limited to 50 attendees, so particpants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Because space is limited, we request that credit unions limit their attendance to the CEO or one senior leader per institution. We ask, also, that your registration represent a firm commitment to attend.
