Through independent research and innovation, the Filene Research Institute explores issues vital to the future of credit unions and consumer finance.

  1. A survey for whippersnappers

    Shadow

Young professionals, do you want to be heard?

The Filene Research Institute wants to know what makes you click and what it is about your credit union – and credit unions in general – that can attract more talented young employees.

If you are 30 or younger and work at a credit union, please take a few (and I mean few) moments to take this survey. Then, if you want, forward the survey link to other under-30 types at yours or another credit union.

    Now the fun part …

One of the first 20 people to verify by comment on this message that he or she has completed the survey will win this excellent book (or something of comparable value from Amazon.com).

If we had world enough and time, we’d make this a randomized sampling. Instead, we’re going to focus on active, engaged credit union types—like you. There may be some bias in the responses, but we’ll recognize that in our report. The results will be presented in aggregate only. The survey is anonymous even to us, and respondents cannot be traced back by name or by credit union.

The survey should only take about 10 minutes to complete, and the results will be compiled and published in a Filene report in early 2009.

    Happy clicking!

Thanks for including a “Country” question so that I could put in Canada, but I couldn’t enter my province. As such, I’m an honourary New Yorker, which is fitting considering I’ll be hopping across the Ontario border to shop tomorrow. Heh.

    Great survey!

  8. Great survey. We will be posting a link from both YCUP.org and portland.ycup.org for others to reference. I am looking forward to seeing the results. Thanks!

Great survey, short and sweet :)

  9. Well i might be late, but this was a great survey. Short and too the point :)

  10. OK, here’s the rub. Our winner is Commenter #5 – Dan. Unfortunately, Dan didn’t leave his contact information, so I can’t send him a book unless he (or someone he knows) responds here within the next 24 hours. If not, I’ll have to go back to the randomizer

Strike that. I just need to learn how to use this blog better. Congratulations, Dan from the Federation for Community Development Credit Unions!
