  1. Fellows Roundtable 2012

    Brookings

    Where:

    The Brookings Institution

    1775 Massachusetts Ave, NW

    Washington, DC

    Somers Room – 1st Floor

    When: Monday, May 21, 2012 | 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST Agenda

What: Our renewed emphasis is to get great ideas all the way from the Filene Research Fellows into the credit union marketplace for our members. The fellows will each lead this small working group in ~30 minutes of conversation about their own research or ideas that further the conversation around credit unions. We give the highest weight to challenging ideas, so ideas may range among regulation to business practices, to consumer behavior, and more. Attendance is limited to the fellows themselves, key Filene partners, and Filene staff.

Preparation: As guests representing the credit union system, we welcome your feedback and full participation at the roundtable. The ideas are made better by discussing their practical implications, so please come with an open mind. Be prepared to discuss the fellows’ research and plan for the topics that would be most useful to the credit union system.
